Happy Birth Day, Fancast!

Technically, it’s been in closed beta for a while now. But the powers-that-be have finally given the green light, and the “Big Red Open Beta Button” has been pushed. Welcome Fancast Open Beta!

That’s right! No more waiting to see what all the fuss is about. Go and experience it yourself. It’s a pretty cool piece of work, if I do say so myself. It’s also been a preoccupation of mine for most of the last year. Working with all the folks here trying to bring it to life has been a very rewarding experience.

Probably the coolest thing about it has less to do with what you can see now, and everything to do with where it’s headed. I’m pretty excited, but obviously reluctant to go into great detail until the official word is out.

Right now, I’m going to kick back and enjoy for a day before we all have to get back to work!
